Customize Market Data and Your Layout: Sections, Panels and Reset

The terminal ships with everything on, but a rates trader doesn't need the crypto strip and an FX trader may not want US sectors. Every part of the screen can be tailored: which markets the MARKET DATA panel shows, the order they stack in, and where every panel sits on the screen. All of it persists in your browser, and one button puts it all back.

Choosing your markets: the ▦ SECTIONS picker

In the MARKET DATA panel header, next to the LIVE/EOD tabs, click ▦ SECTIONS. A checklist of all thirteen sections drops down: RATES, CURVE SPREADS, TSY FUTURES, TSY ETFs, CREDIT ETFs, VOLATILITY, EQUITIES, EQUITY FUTURES, GLOBAL EQUITIES, US SECTORS, COMMODITIES, FX and CRYPTO. Untick anything you don't trade and it disappears instantly; tick it to bring it back. There is no save button: changes apply immediately and are remembered.

Collapse and reorder sections

Click any section header to collapse it to a single line (▸) or expand it again (▾), useful for markets you want one click away rather than gone. Drag the ⠿ grip at the left of a section header to reorder sections so your primary market sits on top. The curve theme banner stays pinned above everything: it is the panel's headline read. LIVE shows real-time quotes with freshness dots; EOD is the daily official reference table.

Arranging the whole terminal

The five panels: MOMENTUM SCORE, NEWS FEED, ECONOMIC CALENDAR, MARKET DATA and ALERTS, live on a draggable grid. Grab a panel by the ⠿ bar at its top and drop it onto another panel: the target outlines in gold and the two panels swap places. Drag the thin splitter bars BETWEEN panels to resize: give the feed more width on a news day, or the calendar more height on data day. The ▼ button in a panel header minimises it to just its title bar.

Hiding widgets entirely

The WIDGETS ▾ menu in the top header lists all five panels with a tick beside each. Untick one and it vanishes, with the remaining panels absorbing its space automatically. The button shows a count (e.g. WIDGETS 4/5) when something is hidden, so a missing panel is never a mystery.

Experiment freely: RESET LAYOUT restores everything

Every arrangement choice is saved in your browser and restored on your next visit. Mess with it as much as you like: the RESET LAYOUT button in the top header wipes all of it, positions, sizes, minimised panels and hidden widgets: and restores the default arrangement in one click. On mobile (under 768px) the terminal becomes a feed-first tabbed app instead: the feed is always on, and the + WIDGETS button on the bottom bar lets you add MARKETS, CALENDAR, ALERTS or SCORE as extra tabs.

FAQ

Will my layout survive a refresh or a restart?

Yes, sections, order, collapsed state, panel positions, sizes and hidden widgets are all saved in your browser and restored automatically. They are per-browser, so a different machine or a private window starts from the default.

I broke my layout. How do I get the default back?

Click RESET LAYOUT in the top header. It clears every saved layout preference (positions, sizes, minimised and hidden panels) and restores the default arrangement instantly.

Can I hide a Market Data section instead of scrolling past it?

Yes. Untick it in the ▦ SECTIONS picker and it is gone until you tick it back. If you only want it out of the way temporarily, click its header to collapse it to one line instead.

Does hiding a widget stop its data or alerts?

No. Hiding is purely visual. The feed keeps ingesting, alerts still fire, and the momentum score keeps updating; bring the panel back any time from the WIDGETS menu.
